Heres how you can watch select Netflix originals for free, without a subscription

If you do not have a Netflix subscription but still want to check out some of the streaming giant’s content, well, you’re in luck. Netflix has enabled free access to a number of its original TV shows and movies. You can access these shows and movies without an account. First picked up by OnlyTech, the feature can be accessed through any desktop or Android browsers. The feature is not available on iOS browsers as of now. The feature is web-only. It is also not available on iOS, smart TVs, or Streaming sticks and is a marketing promotion to try and rope in new subscribers to the streaming service. A Netflix representative also confirmed the same saying, "You can watch select Netflix Original movies and TV episodes online for free, and without creating a Netflix account, by using a computer or Android device (iOS browsers are not supported)."

Watch select Netflix original shows and movies for free

You can head on over to Netflix and watch shows like Our Planet, Stranger Things, Bird Box and more for free. With the TV shows, you can watch the first episode for free and then you’ll be prompted to purchase a subscription to watch the rest of the series. It is a great way to get new customers to your service by giving them a wide range of content to sample before they make their purchase. Apple TV+ also has a similar feature where you can watch the first episode of select shows. This isn’t the first time Netlix has introduced this sort of feature as it previously made the first episode of Bard of Blood free for anyone to watch. Netflix also ran a campaign where the company offered users a one-month subscription for Rs 5, so they aren’t;t new to the free content business.

To access the free content, head on over to netflix.com/watch-free and you’ll see a list of all the shows and movies you can watch for free, without creating an account.
