Motorola Moto G53 specs for the global market leaks

Last week in China, Motorola Moto G53 was launched and it features a Snapdragon 480+ SoC along with 5G support. It is the latest mid-range 5G phone in the Chinese market, and it is rumoured that it will possibly go global soon.

A new leak by Yogesh Brar reveals a slight alteration in specs in the global version of the same phone. An earlier leak by SnoopyTech of the same device suggested a very similar design to the Chinese variant.

The two major differences between the two variants are the display and chipset. The global version might be driven by the newer Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, as compared to the Chinese MotoG53 which runs on Snapdragon 480+.

Its display might be upgraded to a bigger 6.6" OLED panel of FHD+ resolution with a  90Hz refresh rate. The Chinese one works on the lacklustre 6.5-inch HD+ LCD.

The leak also suggests that it will come with a set of 50+8+2MP rear cameras whereas the Chinese MotoG53 sports dual shooters - one of which is still 50MP. The global version will come with Android 13 out of the box, like the Chinese one.

The global Moto G53 is expected to come with a 5,000mAh battery, with "Turbo Charging", which means it will not charge faster than the Chinese MotoG53.

On the design front, the two phones might not show a large difference except it may have flat edges, although its bezels might be a little less pronounced.

This makes the global Motorola Moto G53 a new device altogether with upgraded specs. However, there has been no official confirmation about the launch globally. The price point also remains unconfirmed.
